Leonardo Masetti grew up in the province of Florence. He moved to New York in 2002, becoming a music producer and collaborating with emerging artists in hip hop, R&B, pop, and dance. He is the co-founder of "Fueled by Sound," a pop/dance group whose hit single "Don't Disappoint Me" topped the Canadian Dance and Club charts.

In 2016 Leonardo published the Western/Fantasy graphic novel "Iktomi".

Since 2017, in collaboration with producer Pier Paolo Piccoli, Leonardo has written six historical television scripts . In 2022, Leonardo launched the podcast "Non Ci Credo!", where historical secrets and curiosities are exposed and analyzed in a fun and engaging way.

In the same year, Leonardo published the novel "The Best Years of My Life," a story of love, the Mafia, and betrayal during the Great War.
